Another way of making a protest against white flour! This homemade pasta is easy and not so time-consuming as it may seem, really! You do not need pasta maker either. Without it it might not be so easy to make spaghetti shape, so as long as your are fine with farfalle or shell sort, you will be just fine!
Let me quickly mention what advantages soy flour has: it contains essential fatty acids and proteins good for your health. Among others it is said to decrease the risk of heart disease. Obviously, it is also does not contain gluten, if you are allergic!
Ingredients:
2 cups soy flour
2 eggs
4 tbsp water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
Let`s get cookin` !
Mix salt and soy flour. Make a hole and add eggs one by one, and olive oil, mixing with spoon or fork. In the end incorporate water and knead with hand until it makes a consistent dough. It will be different than a normal pasta, so do not worry! Roll with rolling pin. Choose a shape to make your pasta and cut it (I used beer top)! Assembly them next to each other on kitchen cloth and let for few hours to dry before cooking (if you do not have time, just boil right away, but I recommend not to). Boil around 6 minutes. Now prepare your favourite sauce and have a great meal!! I ate it with mushroom sauce (stew 500g mushrooms with onion and garlic clove, add white wine after they are cooked, let it evaporate, then add Rama Cremefine 7%, or other cream for sauces). Enjoy!
