Dziś zapraszam Was na retro deser.

Polecam

Zainspirowane tym przepisem
SKŁADNIKI ( 2 porcje):
- 1 szklanka wydrylowanych wiśni (ok. 250 g)
- 1 szklanka wody (250 ml)
- 1 łyżka syropu daktylowego
- 1 łyżka likieru Amaretto (opcjonalnie)
- 2 łyżki skrobi ziemniaczanej + 6 łyżek wody
- 2 garście poziomek
- 1 gałązka melisy
PRZYGOTOWANIE:
Owoce wrzucamy do rondelka, dodajemy szklankę wody, syrop, likier i doprowadzamy do wrzenia. Gotujemy 10-15 minut. Następnie jeśli chcemy aby kisiel był gładki, wlewamy wszystko do blendera i miksujemy, jeśli lubimy taki z kawałkami owoców, pomijamy ten krok.
Następnie ponownie zagotowujemy zmiksowane (lub nie) owoce.
Rozrabiamy skrobię z 6 łyżkami wody, wlewamy mieszankę do gotujących się owoców i mieszamy energicznie trzepaczką. Zdejmujemy garnuszek z ognia i jeszcze chwilę wszystko szybko mieszamy.
Następnie, kisiel przelewamy do opłukanych zimną wodą pucharków, czekamy aż chwilę ostygnie i dekorujemy poziomkami oraz melisą. Przechowujemy go w lodówce do 3 dni.
Smacznego ☺
"Kisiel" is a very popular simple fruit dessert in middle and eastern Europe. It has a jelly like consystency and is very easy to make. Basically you just boil some fruits with water and then thicken them with potato starch. You can leave the whole fruits inside or mix them until smooth and you can make it with any fruits you like. The most popular are all the berries: strawberries, cherries, raspberries, cranberries and mixed wild berries. Other popular flavors are orange, lemon and peach.

Today I made it with lovely fresh cherries and topped it with sweet wild strawberries and citrusy melissa. The dessert is light, fruity and makes a great cold snack on a hot summer day.

INGREDIENTS (2 servings):
- 1 C pitted cherries (approx. 250 g)
- 1 C water (250 ml)
- 1 tbsp date syrup
- 1 tbsp amaretto liqueur (optional)
- 2 tbsp potato starch mixed with 6 tbsp water
- 2 handfuls od wild strawberries
- 1 sprig of melissa
PREPARATION:
Put fruits in a saucepan, add a glass of water, syrup, liqueur and bring to a boil. Cook for 10-15 minutes. Then if you want the pudding to be smooth, put everything into a blender and mix until smooth, but if you want to leave some pieces of fruit inside, skip this step.
Then again, bring the fruits to a boil on a small heat.
Mix potato starch with 6 tbsp of water, pour the mixture into the boiling fruit and stir vigorously with a whisk. Take the pot off the heat and stir the pudding for 1 more minute until it thickens.
Then, pour it into cups rinsed with cold water and leave it to cool down. Just before serving decorate with wild strawberries and melissa. Store it in the fridge for 3 days.
Enjoy ☺
