OMLET Z BATATEM I WĘDZONYM ŁOSOSIEM / OMELETTE WITH SWEET POTATO AND SMOKED SALMON

Wszystkie warzywa kroimy na kawałki o dowolnej wielkości – ja lubię czuć, że coś gryzę podczas jedzenia omleta, więc moje warzywa są dość spore. Łososia siekamy dość drobno. Na rozgrzaną patelnię wrzucamy wszystkie warzywa – cebulę, pomidorki, batata i smażymy na średnim ogniu. Jak cebula się lekko zeszkli, a batat zarumieni, dorzucamy posiekanego łososia. Do sporej miski wbijamy jajka, dokładamy mąkę, mleko, majonez, przyprawy, wszystko dokładnie mieszamy trzepaczką.

Gdy warzywa są podsmażone układamy je mniej więcej równą warstwą na całej powierzchni patelni i powoli zalewamy masą jajeczną. Całość smażymy na wolnym ogniu aż całość się zetnie również z wierzchu, jeśli zależy Ci na czasie przykryj patelnię pokrywką.

Tuż przed zdjęciem omleta z patelni posyp go świeżymi ziołami – ja tym razem wybrałam koperek, idealnie się moim zdaniem komponuje z wędzonym łososiem w omlecie.

Cut all the ingredients into pieces, size of the pieces is up to you – I like the vegetables to be rather big, so I can feel them while eating. Chop the salmon. Put all the vegetables on heated with some oil pan- onion, tomatoes, sweet potato and fry it on medium fire. When the onion glazes, and the potato get golden a bit add chopped salmon. Put the eggs, flour, milk, mayonnaise, spices, mix it all together.

When the vegetables and salmon are fried make an even layer of them on the pan and cover it slowly with the eggs. Fry it all together until it will be still on the top, if you want it to fry faster cover the pan with a lid.

Just before taking the omelette off the pan sprinkle it with fresh herbs – I used dill this time, it suits the smoked salmon perfectly.
