Tzatziki is very similar to Polish mizeria (sounds like misery) a combination of cucumber, salt, pepper and dill. With the Greek version, you also add garlic and olive oil which we don’t add to mizeria.
Tzatziki is perfect with BBQed meat or roasted veggies and freshly baked pita bread! I’ve had mine with chicken skewers (recipe coming soon) and garlic parmesan smashed potatoes. It was delicious and because the weather wasn’t great I used a grill pan to fry my chicken kebabs.
Let’s get started with our Tzatziki! It’s a very simple sauce to make so if you have a spare moment, make it and please do not be tempted to buy the ready made one!
