Feel like having a grown-up treat sometime ? What about Egg Liqueur (aka Advocaat) ? My version substitutes white sugar with brown sugar and also reduces its amount slightly.
Ingredients:
7 egg yolks
170g brown sugar
1 package (8g) vanilla sugar
1 can (410g) unsweetened condensed milk
300ml good quality vodka
Wash eggs and rinse them with boiling water. Separate eggs yolks and egg whites (you won't need egg whites, you can use them for something else!). Mix egg yolks and sugar with a mixer for arpund 10-15 minutes until sugar crystals dissolve as much as possible and the substance becomes lighter in colour. Still mixing, slowly incorporate first condensed milk and then vodka. You can mix a little longer to make sure all the sugar is dissolved. Close in clean and scalded glass bottlea either with boiling water or place for 20 minutes in 110C in oven (I usually do both).
