Rice instead of bread, a lot of veggies and baked beef hamburger without all the fat! Fast-food lovers approved!
In this version I made a `bread roll` from rice. I shaped it thanks to use of sticky risotto rice mixed with wholegrain rice for even more fiber. That`s how useless carbs are eliminated! Instead of frying beef hamburgers, I baked them to get rid of all the, also useless, fat. And that`s how fats are eliminated!
Ingredients:
300g qood quality minced beef meat
1 cup of rice: 1/3 risotto, 2/3 wholegrain rice
your favourite additions, e.g.: iceberg salad, few slices of bacon, cheese, stewed mushrooms, avocado, tomato... etc.
1 vegetable stock cube
salt, pepper
sesame
Boil rice in vegetable stock. Do not add a lot of water in the beginning. The water must be absorbed by rice, not evaporated, so just keep adding whenever the rice is not done, but be careful not to put to much. When the rice is done and is sticky enough, turn off the heat, and let it cool. After it cooled down, shape ``bread`` halves in shape of cut in half bread roll and cover with sesame so that it doesn`t stick
Add salt and pepper to beef meat and mix with your hands or with a fork. Shape hamburgers and place in ovenproof dish next to each other. Bake for 25 minutes in 220C. When burgers are done take them out of oven and place on paper towels to get rid of the rest of fat that was melted.
Cut your veggies prepare the sauce cheese and bacon (simply heat on frying pan to melt the fat and make them crrrispy!) and assembly your burgers!
